Tennis Elbow Injections
Tennis elbow is a chronic degenerative painful condition that affects the attachment of the extensor tendons to the lateral epicondyle.
Symptoms of the tennis elbow :
- pain and a tenderness on the outside of the elbow,
- elbow stiffness,
- pain starts at the elbow but then may radiate to the wrist,
- general weakness in the wrist.
Diagnosis is based on the patient’s medical history, physical and radiologic examinations.
Intervention techniques we apply for a tennis elbow treatment:
- prolotherapy,
- Platelet Rich Plasma,
- dry needling,
- steroid block.
Dr. Marcin Goczewski uses all mentioned above various intervention techniques in the treatment of tennis elbow only under ultrasound guidance.
