Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome
Greater trochanteric pain syndrome manifests as a pain on the lateral side of the hip.
At the beginning it was considered that the cause of pain is the trochanteric bursa inflammation. Lack of others symptoms of inflammation like fever, swelling, redness suggests that the cause of pain may be also gluteus medius and gluteus minimus enthesopathy. snapping hip, iliotibial band syndrome or pain radiating from lumbar area.
Conservative treatment:
