Golfer’s Elbow Injection

Golfer’s Elbow Injection

Golfer’s elbow is a condition that affects the attachment of the flexor tendons to the medial epicondyle.

It is a kind of chronic degenerative tendinopathy.

Symptoms of the golfer’s elbow :

  • elbow stiffness,
  • pain on the outside of the elbow,
  • tenderness over lateral epicondyle,
  • pain radiating to the forearm.

Diagnosis is based on the patient’s history, physical and radiologic examinations.

In the case of lack of response to conservative treatment we offer following interventions.

  • dry needling,
  • prolotherapy,
  • PRP,
  • steroid block.

Dr. Marcin Goczewski uses all mentioned above various intervention techniques in the treatment of golfer’s elbow only under ultrasound guidance.
